Reported execution
Google says the campaign placed 50 commercials—one in each state—around the big game, profiling small businesses and nonprofits that use Workspace with Gemini. It also says the team used Gemini to narrow a large customer pool and NotebookLM to review interview transcripts during a compressed 50-state production.
Our reading
The stronger idea is testimonial scale, not a generic AI promise. Local businesses make the product claim concrete, while the campaign’s own use of AI stays secondary to the advertised customer benefit.
Evidence limits
Google’s account is a first-party narrative: it does not provide raw selection criteria, usage logs, ad delivery or independent evidence that each featured workflow produced the described benefit. It nevertheless clearly distinguishes filmed customer stories from synthetic demonstration.
